MagniLink AIR Go – mobile, wireless distance camera
The MagniLink AIR Go is a portable, wireless distance camera designed for easy mobility, making it perfect for visually impaired students who move between classrooms. Set it up wherever you have a clear line of sight, and effortlessly connect to your device through Wi-Fi.
A mobile solution for students and employees
The MagniLink AIR Go is ideal for both educational and workplace settings, where it can be paired with a MagniLink video magnifier and customized accessories to meet the user’s specific needs. This setup enhances independence and improves daily activities.
For visually impaired students who often change classrooms, the MagniLink AIR Go is particularly useful. It only requires a flat surface, such as a desk or cabinet, and a clear view of the target, like a whiteboard. Equally effective in an office setting, it’s easy to transport between meeting or conference rooms for seamless use.
Great flexibility
The MagniLink AIR Go connects effortlessly via Wi-Fi, wirelessly transmitting the image directly to the user’s screen. For those who prefer a wired setup, it also supports network (Ethernet) cable connections. It’s compatible with a wide range of devices, including PC, Mac, Chromebook, and iPad, offering users flexibility in how they use the camera. For added convenience, the built-in battery provides around 5.5 hours of continuous use without needing external power, and the device can still be operated while charging.
Accessories that facilitate
If the MagniLink AIR system is to be used by a student who does not have access to a computer, you can use a control unit with pre-installed software instead. The image is then transferred via cable from the MagniLink AIR Go to the control unit. This unit is in turn connected to a separate monitor that displays the camera image. An easy- to- use controller (hand control) is included, but you can also choose to control the software by a keyboard and a computer mouse.
Additional accessories that are available include OCR / TTS – a text-to-speech function that makes it possible to OCR-process a text and have it read aloud, as well as an external controller (hand control) to control the system if you prefer not to control the system directly from the software or computer keyboard.
