New England Low Vision and Blindness and InSIGHT Team Up on Technology Workshops
Four members of the New England Low Vision and Blindness Technology Team spent the day with clients of InSIGHT in Warwick, Rhode Island discussing the latest products and trends in the field of Low Vision and Blindness Technology. In attendance were, Scott Krug, company President, David Keeler, General Manager, Gloria Stuart, Sr. Assistive Technology Specialist and Trainer, and Tracy Andrews, Low Vision Technology Consultant.
The annual event allows participants an intimate opportunity to be hands on with the latest in Low Vision and Blindness technology products. Clients discussed their current use of assistive technology and their goals in small groups before pairing up with one of the New England Low Vision and Blindness team members to focus in on products that might best serve their needs.
Feedback from the participants was overwhelmingly positive with tremendous takeaway value for all who attended. General Manager, David Keeler said “We really look forward to this event each year and the opportunity to partner with InSIGHT. It is amazing to see the growth from year to year. Participants really gain a lot of information through our group discussions and then they get to be hands on with the products with, in my opinion, the best team in the business. It’s a real win/win.”
