    ** Event Rescheduled **

Because of the severity of the pending storm, the BLIND Event has been rescheduled from Tuesday March 13th, to Thursday March 22nd. While this is unfortunate it is a necessary step to ensure the safety of the attendees.

If anyone has already registered for the event they will not need to re-register.

Come to the State House on Thursday, March 22nd for Blind Legislative Informational Networking Day!

    Your participation is critical!

You are cordially invited to attend the 10th annual Blind Legislative Informational Networking Day.  This year’s event may be the most important BLIND event of all! Your advocacy is critical to the future of blindness services as we know them in the Commonwealth!

This is a critical year to make your voices heard at the State House – services as you have known them are clearly at risk and must be preserved! Please add your voice to our advocacy efforts!

At this important time, the community is working to both provide information and network with legislators on the need for appropriate funding for the blindness community’s vital service needs.

    Purpose

To advocate for legislative support of the FY2019 budget and funding recommendations that recognize the necessity for specialized blindness services and their critical importance and need for funding in these challenging budgetary times.
